DECODE™ presented by RTX
This year’s FIRST Tech Challenge season, DECODE (2025-2026), invites students in grades 7-12 to investigate the power of the world’s artifacts and unlock mysteries using STEM skills and teamwork. Students will not only design, build, and program a robot, but also gain confidence, real-life engineering and coding experience, and the chance to see themselves as creators — not just consumers — of technology.

In addition to gameplay, designing and building robots, FIRST Tech Challenge participants raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards during the competition season.
